Ever since me and my ex have divorced over 3 years ago my child anger has gotten worse each year. and this year takes the cake. The preschool she was in before has expelled her school, they could not longer put up with her hitting, yelling, acting out, not listening, throwing toys and just down right disrespectful. We put her in a new school this august hoping and praying that her attitude would change with new friends new teacher and just a whole new environment. NOT.. her behavior has not changed and now were on the brink of yet another disciplinary action with the school. I just don't understand how she can be wonderful on one day and then the next 4 days she awful and unruly. I discipline my child with time outs, taking away her favorite thing (TV), spankings if warranted. I've tried EVERYTHING, but nothing seems to work. Being around my daughter is pure work all the time, I never get a chance to enjoy her or just get a good hug.

We have begun to start counseling and me and her father were not on the same page as far as discipline, at my house it's the military and his house its disneyland. He finally figured out that his way was NOT working or helping our child move along in a positive way. We are now on the same page and we're working together along with our church to help our daughter make better decisions. This process just started and I'm a true believer that it takes a village to raise a child. it's extremely frustrating that I have to fight with her every singe evening just to do one simple thing, its always talk back or screaming back, or attitude I get. I go to bed with a headache and sometimes crying.

Have you considered getting her to see a counsellor? What is the arrangement between you and her father for custody, because this could be an issue too.
