My babies has just turned 4 months today he is constantly waking in the night for a feed and during the day he gets really hungry after 1.30-2 hrs but he only has 5 oz he won't take any more. Any advise of what I should do to try and get him to sleep more at night

Gwen is right sleep patterns change all the time, just when you think you have it figured out it's going to change. Continue to feed on demand and I honestly don't think I would start solids to get him to sleep through the night because it usually doesn't help and it's not recommended to start solids till closer to 6 months.

His eating and sleeping patterns will be constantly changing over the next year or so. This is perfectly normal, and you should expect it to happen every few months. You could try the rice cereal, it won't really hurt anything, but it's probably not necessary. Just keep feeding on demand for awhile. The only thing predictable about a baby is that they are not predictable :)

Sounds like a growth spurt. Keep feeding him. It should pass in a week or 2.
