my babies poop is really very hard. some day he dont poop..is there any home remedy to make his poop soft and easy to pass

Is that all he eats? All of that is very binding....except I don't know what ragi is. I would introduce pureed prunes, and pears. Those really help soften the stool. Also if you can add some yogurt to his diet.

He is 1 year old..he eats porridges made from semolina,ragi,raw banana powder and rixe

My lg is 7 months old and shes been constipated a couple of times, I was recommended to put a tiny tiny pinch of sugar in her milk, and mean like a tiny amount, worked pretty quick and really helped! Obviously not a long term solution though as you dont want to be giving them sugar at a young age x

You can always ask your doctor about it if it's a recurring problem. And yes we would need to know more information on what he or she is eating etc.

I know my son got constipated once and I gave him prune juice mixed in with his apple sauce which seemed to help. I can't remember exactly how old he was but he wasn't a little baby or anything but he was on babyfood etc.
