Like Raye mentions... breast milk and/or formula have the calories and nutrients your child needs to grow and thrive. Yes, a variety of foods should be encouraged (never forced) for the tastes and learning experience of eating, but many babies/young toddlers eat very little actual food and still thrive wonderfully on their milk.
If you are giving your child breast milk or formula on demand and he is still losing weight... he needs to see a doctor.
