Hi, you may want to try chemical & toxin free products. I use a hydrocortisone cream & lotion that would clear it up in a couple days. Plus it's safer for my family & I'm saving money! I'd be happy to show you how you can get these types of products too, Sincerely, Jean

my son had very bad rashes when he was 3 months old and the doctor recommended Eucerin cream and it worked. I was using Johnson lotion and the doctor said that most kids get rashes from it now a days. just be careful around the eyes

Diaper cream will always work in small amounts for any type of rash on a baby. If you don't want her to have sticky oily skin, then put a capful of baby oil in her bath water and then pat her rash dry. It should clear up in a few days. If it doesn't, then consult with a doctor as it might be something else. :0 Good luck :)

She must have sensitive skin like my son.. we use all chemical free stuff even lotion and it works awesome took his eczema away in like 3 days.. just have to be careful of what you use cause almost everythin has formaldahyde and chemicals in it. we switched stores so we don't have to worry about it anymore, you might want to try bag balm, or cortizone cream, if nothing else works

i would say wash the skin, pat dry, and keep dry. idk if desitin works.... it smells gross though... maybe balmex.

:-)

but keep it dry... if it gets wet and stays wet it will only make rash worse, and maybe lead to infection!

no more lotion! idk what kind it was, but once cleared maybe try something with no scent. or some kind of organic kind of lotion! does she had prob. with certain dipers too?

maybe just sensitive skin. if thats the case you might want to try n lotion!

my 7mth old son has been getting litttle rashes on his face that comes and goes. It comes out in little clusters or red pimple like. My pediatrician keeps saying its baby eczema and it will go away. The pimple like rash on his forhead is from the heat, but I feel its something else. Am I over worrying myself? I've used desitin rapid relief for diaper rashes and it seems to work, (yes go figure) but it keeps popping up...Has anyone heard of teething rashes? Could this be what he has? Has anyone out there experienced the same thing with their child?
Sincerely,
Worried mommy

Quoting jennifer:

you could try hydrocortisone cream I used all the time with my son he had rashs all the time and it worked pretty good....hope this helps!

hydrocortisone cream would be too strong i guess for this one as it sounds like an alergy to the lotion, and with it washed away with warm water it should clear up soon, my son's face came up the same, but every child differs

Huggies natural care lotion is GREAT for babies with allergies to johnsons (or whatever). =) Or depending on how old she is it might just be BAD baby acne.

i would suggest to use Mustela brand from now on. it is the best. i know it is expensive but so worth it.
Wash your baby girl's face with warm water and dry. For the rash use hydrocortisone cream but very little...

My daughter has very sensitive skin and CANNOT tolerate Desitin. I use Noodle and Boo Ultimate Ointment (www.noodleandboo.com) on everything from diaper rash to eczema to cradle cap. While I don't doubt that a creme for diaper rash could be used elsewhere, I would just make sure it is a very gentle formulation.

If it is a reaction to a lotion, I would just wash it off with warm water and it should go away. You might add to it if you put on more creams. Try looking for products that are fragrance free, hypo-allergenic, and don't contain alcohol. Most baby products that are made for sensitive skin should meet these specifications but always read the label just in case. Good luck.
