The question you should ask is that ok with you and your household. If your getting uncomfortable with it then no its not ok anymore.

My views are the longer the better, I nursed my daughter (now7) till she was 2.5 years old. that is when I started feeling it was time to stop.

Absolutely! It is still giving so many health benefits to both you and your baby. Keep going as long as you are both happy with it. I made the decision to breastfeed my son until he was 2, but he stopped of his own accord about 3 months before that, which worked great for us both :)

I weaned my twins at 15 months and thought that nursing up to and past 2 was just wrong. Well... those twins are now 9.5 and I'm still nursing their 3 year old brother. I obviously changed my views. ;)
