'Little Miss' is right that he should be only having breast milk or formula. To help we really do need more information, but I'll respond on what we have and say....

My twins spit up a LOT, but they were happy and growing fine. The doctor classified them as 'happy spitters', so we just needed to have a lot of burp rags handy and do extra laundry. ;) They outgrew their happy spitting (for the most part) by 9 months.

My son didn't spit up as much as they did and he still grew just fine (quite a bit actually since my body was used to making milk for two), but he was VERY cranky and diagnosed w/ reflux. He was on meds that helped quite a bit, but he still had to sleep upright on his belly on me while I was propped upright in bed in order to sleep every night for the first 5 months of his life. He pretty much outgrew the reflux by 6 months.

You may need to switch formulas. There are a lot of great brands out there, but I would talk with your pediatrician about what kind she/he would recommend. I mainly BFed but I also used Enfamil gentle ease on my son. Is this your first time giving alecare? What have you used in the past? Is it just spit up like Teresa said? You may need to feed a couple of ounces at a time, and burp him...then continue the feeding and burp when done. Also, a more upright position can help, and also a good brand bottle like Dr. Brown. it really helps vent the air so not to much is getting in there tummies.

Hmmm....what do you mean by milk? Do you mean breast milk? Or milk that you buy in the store such as whole or 2%? Or do you mean formula? Babies should ONLY be getting formula or breast milk, so if you are giving him store bought stuff like you and I would drink, they cannot handle that yet. Can you clarify a bit so we can help?
