My baby is 5 months old and I am only breastfeeding her. My milk has decreased lately. Do you have any recommendations?

My lactation specialist suggested I start taking "Fenugreek" its an all natural vitamin. It seemed to really help me, I was able to nurse my sons until he was 13 months old and had enough frozen from pumping during work for an additional 2 months.

Pumping is not an indication that you don't have enough milk. Pumping is not nearly as efficient as your feeding baby. If you are actually feeding your baby from your breast, and your baby is not screaming for more, then you have enough.

Like Jodi said, pump output is not an indicator of low supply. Pumps are not as efficient at getting milk out as babies are.?Average output is 1/2 to 2 oz total so your output is more than fine. Sounds like you're doing better than you think you are!
