My baby is almost 7 months and her poop is dark green still, she was breast fed than lost weight so we put her on formula. She didn't like it so i had to put a little bit raw sugar in the water before i added formula. She gained weight and is healthy and alert but her poop is still really dark green and hasn't changed? Does anyone know why?

It's from the formula. And I would NOT put sugar in her formula. Did your doctor tell you to do this? That is so bad for them.

It could also mean that she got cold...like after a bath or just room temperature.

Sugar is a no no for babies. Talk to your doctor

She would have drank the formula eventually. Its not like she would have starved herself. She really does not need the sugar.

It's the formula that is making her poop dark green, it's from too much iron her diet.

Adding sugar to formula without the advice of a doctor (and even then I would have to question his medical expertise if a doctor were to actually advise this) is dangerous and unnecessary. Either put her back on the breast or switch formulas. Talk to her doctor, too much iron can cause other problems beyond green poop.
