Try healthy nursing tea if you feel you're not producing enough to satisfy your child.

My best advice to you is to call the lataction consultant at the local hospital. They are great help. Some babies are just fussy babies. Some get an upset tummy when you eat something (most commonly milk). Some are going through a growth spurt and need the extra milk, so will nurse more often to get your supply up. Some babies will act and have the same cry for hunger as they do for tired. A normal newborn cycle is eat, alert, sleep. If baby has not slept since last feeding try that first.

Some babies cry a lot. My first cried constantly for 12 weeks. If your baby nurses often, has 6-8 wets a day and one poop a day, seems alert and hydrated (makes tears, mouth and lips are moist) and is steadily gaining weight, he is getting enough to eat. Be sure you drink lots of water, nurse frequently and lots of skin to skin contact will keep your milk supply up.

If you have plenty of milk feed him 24/7. If your concerned you are not generating enough he may need a bottle supplement.
