Oh! It's always hard when your kids are sick . She will be ok soon. I heard from my Mother-in-law that using warm dry cloth to put on baby's chest and back always help them with cough. It worked with my childeren. Just warm the cloth either in microwave or on the pan over at stove for few second and then gently put on baby's chest and back.

Lol! Yes your baby will smell a little oniony - but a warm bath will fix that - And btw Johnson and Johnson makes a bubble bath for sick babies that helps in a warm bath. It smells pretty nice and helps a bit! I hope she is doing better now! It's so tough when your babies are sick but we have all been there and know what you are going through ~ hugs!

Thats what my mom use to do when we were kids and we had a sore throat, she would chop a onion and wrap it loose around our neck for a night..it helps for a sore throat but OMG did we stink like Onions after that. She used raw onion.I remember when i was 12 we went shopping after a onion night and i went to the perfume sector and sprayed all kinds of testers on my neck to get rid of the onion smell....but bwaaaaaaa it stank even worse.Since then i am not a fan of raw onions around my neck.

She had her 2 month check up yesterday! Doctor said that she is growing so beautiful... She weights 11.8lbs. She gave me a nasal moisturizing spray that can help her congested chest. They also gave her shots! :( but she's doing a lot better! Thank You!

I know this sounds ridiculous but I swear it works. My nana-in-law is a naturopath and used this for years! Fry up a whole onion - yellow, white, red, it doesn't matter and the wrap it on a towel and pin it to your baby's chest. Make sure it's warm but not too hot. Keep it on all night or at least until it cools completely. This alone works but if you want to amp it up a little more, gently massage the air ways on chest and back to help loosen the mucous. Then sit baby up so it's easier to clear. I have used this on my son many times - he has asthma and very bad allergies so coughs really do a number on him - it works wonders!

Put Vics vapor rub on their feet and cover it with socks. I know it sounds silly but the truth is it works. If you want they do have baby Vics which is safe to put on their chest. Really though I tried it both ways and the feet work better
