My baby will be 11 weeks old tomorrow. I have been pumping at least three times a day since he was 7 weeks old to get some breast milk saved up for daycare and nights out and such. I have always pumped after nursing him and I used to get close to three ounces. I am lucky to get two ounces now. Does anyone have any advice for me? Why do I feel like my milk supply is slowing down all of a sudden?

Chances are he is going through a growth spurt and is taking more from the breast. Your body just needs time to stock up again. You are doing awesome! Good job pumping and getting ready for not being with him all the time. One more piece of advice, get him used to the bottle now. It will be harder at the last minute and the older he gets. He will be more likely to take it earlier on and get used to it. The longer you wait, the more difficult from breast to bottle it may be for him. Keep up the good hard work!

Don't forget to eat as well as drink, and if you can still get ounces after a FULL feeding, that is still good

Your body is regulating, that's what it's supposed to do. You don't want to feel full all the time, and 2 ounces when pumping is still very very good, especially after a feeding!
