There is nothing wrong w/ giving her crackers on occasion no matter what kind they are, but you don't want her JUST eating crackers when she is older. Maybe she wants to feed herself and there is nothing wrong w/ that. Just keep offering her other foods w/out the crackers in sight and don't worry if she doesn't eat anything just yet. She will eat when she is ready to eat. Breast milk has all the calories and nutrients a child under a year old NEEDS to consume. Foods are just for fun and learning new tastes and how to eat.

At 7 months the only thing she NEEDS is breast milk on demand. I wouldn't give her a cracker more than 2-3 times/week at the most, but it's totally fine if she won't eat anything else that you offer her yet. You just have to keep offering and she'll get there. My youngest wasn't eating any foods every day until close to a year (took his first bite of anything at 6 months... but was much fonder of breastfeeding). He's a thriving almost 7 year old now.

Best thing to do is stop having crackers in the house. If you don't have them to offer, baby will not have them to eat and will start eating other healthy food.

I recently started her on solids and she was doing alright untill the cracker! She wouldn't eat unles she had one in her hand and I would give foods like homemade carrots/green beans/ Gerber prunes. Now she won't even eat those I thought it had something to do with being independent already
