My baby is 9 and a half months old and he won't drink his formula. He completely refuses it. He drinks two 750ml bottles of juice a day. I keep getting told to force him to drink his formula. But I don't feel comfortable forcing him and when I tried he just refuses. He is putting on weight and has been on solid food since he was 4 months old. What should I do?

Well I wouldn't be listening to that health professional.
Juice (even no added sugar juice) contains sugars and empty calories. It has no nutritional value at all.
I don't know of any health professional that would advise to give juice to a child under 2 to wean them off the bottle by 1.
Before 12 months, solid foods are just for taste and texture. All the nutrition that a child needs is found in formula or breastmilk and that should be their main source of food.

I asked for advice not abuse. The juice he has had no added sugar only natural sugar. Actually I have been told by the health visitor to try juice to get him off his bottles by the time he is 1.
He is eating real food which has the proper nutrition in it that he needs to put weight on.

Why the heck are you feeding your 9 month old juice?!?!?!
They DON'T need juice at all until much older. No wonder he won't have his formula.
Cut out the juice and only offer him the formula. Of course he's putting on weight because juice is full of sugar, not the nutrients he actually needs.
