What a butt! Single mom support groups are popping up everywhere now. You need mommy friends! Making friends and building a support system for yourself will benefit you greatly. I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you Chantal! I live in Dallas, TX. I moved here from Idaho so most my family and friends are there. I have an aunt here. The mistake I made is that I met my boyfriend (or my ex now) right after I moved to Texas in 2011 and we instantly hit if off, it wasn't long before we were living together so I never got out much to meet other people like I should have. I wish he and I were able to work things out because I really do love him but he doesn't want the same thing. Once I got pregnant our relationship started falling apart fast. I thought after I had the baby he would feel better and he did for a couple weeks but I guess this ended up being too much for him to handle. He says he still wants my son in his life and got a court order so I can't move home with my baby for support from my family.

I am sorry to hear that. Do you have family support or friends you can lean on? Having a new baby is stressful enough on you, you are going to need a good support system to help you through this even rougher time. The good news is, there are plenty of single moms who do a awesome job of raising their kids and I am sure you will be one of them :)
