My breastfed son won't drink whole milk, need help!

My Stricly breastfed son just turned a yr and I'm trying to wean him off the breast. He drinks apple juice just fine with no problems from a sippy cup. However, I've tried introducing whole milk and he doesn't like it at all, infact, he spits it out and throws his cup. Anyone have any suggestions on getting my son to take whole milk? Someone told me to put a few drops of karo syrup into his milk to sweeten it up like breasmilk, I'm not sure if that's a great idea though. Please help, thank you! :)

Both of my kids took to whole milk for a few months but both ended up with stomach bugs in there early toddler years and neither will drink milk now. I also use other dairy substitutes like cheese and yogurt. I don't drink milk either so I'm not going to make my kids but they get the vitamins from other foods, my pediatrician isn't concerned.

neither of my kids particularly liked milk so I fed them other dairy products. breakfast comes with yogurt everyday :) my daughter still won't drink milk but my son enjoys it now-he's 3 1/2

Maybe try doing part breast milk part milk. It takes some time. My son has never taken to drinking out of a sippy cup. He will drink out of a normal cup with help or a bottle that's it. He'll drink other stuff water, juice but never successful with the milk and he's 2.
