Kids have not been in school a week yet and my daughter told me she fell at school and hurt her knee and her wrist when she caught herself. Well a week later and she was still complaining of pain to her wrist she finally went into detail how she was walkin in line from one class to another and girls behind her were making fun of her because she was so short. My baby is 10yr old and 55lbs very petit. Well my daughter just ignored them and kept walking when one of them shoved her down to ground. The principal says she is investigating it. Mean time she has told my child that they may have been jealous or been saying it cause they thought she was cute short. She does not know this. The counselor had a meeting with the 5th graders about how something u say can be taking in different ways by others. I just don't feel this is enough. These girls poked fun at her. She is already shy and quiet cause she is the smallest one. But then they put their hands on her and caused a injury that if not healed correctly could damage the growth of it. Bullying is bullying these kids are old enough to know what's what. What else can I do. I am so upset by this. Now she can play the sports she does love it hurts for her to color. It's not fair. :(
