I'm going to say yes. My kid hates us trying to feed him and won't eat all his meal but will snack on whatever I leave out for him. He eats most things himself with a spoon or fork now.

It's definitely normal. They start to get fussy around 18 months to 2 years as well.

Stop spoon feeding her! Give her foods that she can eat with her fingers. And she can even start using a spoon at that age (my youngest started at age 1).

How much are you considering a 'full meal"? Some kids eat less than others. I have a 2 yrs old and he hardly eats anything. As long as they are still meeting milestones and following their 'growth pattern' I wouldn't worry too much. You can also get some toddler formula and give her a cup before bed if you feel she isn't getting enough.

My 18 month old is the same. I do make sure I give her something decent at breakfast and lunch. I also don't give her anything for a couple of hours before dinner. We always sit down as a family for dinner and she eats what we eat. She refuses if it's not the same!!!
As for spoon feeding, mine has been feeding herself for about 5 months or more. If it's something she wants and is going to make a mess, like yoghurt, I put her in her highchair with a spoon and let her go for it.
This morning she thought it would make a good face cream but she did eat most of it. Other days she eats all of it without a mess.
