Hi Kristin I remember this one when my girls were little they preferred to sleep on the floor over the hot water pipes that ran under that section wee went 4 changes of bed before we got princess beds and at last I had two little princess's in their own beds lots of things in my experience stop children sleeping in their own bed feelings of insecurity over stimulation to much going on in the room which encrouches on their dreams and sometimes nightmares try and keep the bedroom a calm place even get some of the childrens relaxation music made bedtime a special time something they look forward to the time that special to you both even if its only ten minutes if after all that and it still does not work then it comes down to tough love everytime they get out of bed they are put back the first time you say to them back to bed darling(your word) the second time just say bed 3rd time you do not communicate at all you may have to do this a few night it does work but you have to perservere. My Daughter were both ADHD their mums themselves now and are using the very things I did with them it does work with patience and both parent working from the same sheet.

maybe she wants to be in the middle of the action, kids don't want to miss anything. so when its bed time make the living room dark and say everyone is going to bed. she may figure why both since nothing is going on in here and go to her own bed.
