Hi I'm Candace, I have a four year old daughter. Over the past few months she has become very mouthy. To the point I just want to lose it. When she's told/asked to do something she argues non stop. She yells and screams like she thinks she will get her way however I don't give in. She's a very strong willed little girl. She thinks she's a grown adult or something trying to tell me what she is going to do instead of what i told her needs to be done. I just am so stressed and frustrated at this point. I have tried everything taking things away punishment time outs nothing works. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Do you give back her toys or things taken? If you do take them and do not return them. Eventually, she is going to have nothing in her room but save the bed, dresser and that kind of thing she needs. I would also try active ignoring her until she realized you would not watch her tantrums.

When you do the time out, punishment or taking things away do you keep on doing it? Are you consistent?
