She should have 50 words at minimum and put two and three words together: dog bark, big dog bark. Something like that. I explained how to get an evaluation.
Ask yourself this question: Am I more likely to regret not getting her evaluated and speech therapy or will I regret pursuing help for my daughter?

It is not typical. By two a child should have a minimum of 50 words and start speaking in short phrases. Call your Early Interventions Program and request an evaluation. They will check her hearing first and then a speech therapist will evaluate your child and get a full health history from you. If she does have a speech delay, therapy will be provided to her at no cost to you. Therapy will continue until she either catches up or turns 3 years old. At 3 the public school system Department of Special Education will take over.

Just if you are in the US? I guess I should have just asked if you lived in the US. If you do, contact your state's Early Intervention Program and request a speech and hearing evaluation. My son at 24 months, would say five words and only if we coaxed him to speak. He had an evaluation done and therapy was started. Within a year he closed the gap. If you live internationally my answer would be different.
