My daughter attempted suicide due to unhealthy gaming addiction

My 14 Y/O overdosed on medication in hopes to kill herself. I have always limited her online time and checked her internet history. The police investigated her room and they found a letter saying that she wanted to commit suicide because of an online user in the MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) who stole tons of pixels from the other players and was described by her as, "playing unfairly and stealing tons of stuff that others worked hard for". Due to the investigation, she may have spent more time online than I know of (at school, at a friend's house, at a public library, etc). I have let the police deal with the investigation for the past few days now and my daughter told the person that she will commit suicide if they don't give back her stuff that apparently some avatars believe it's worth $50+. I am planning for her to see a psychologist to help her with her mental health issues and not allow her back on the Internet ever again (I've contacted her school and her friend's parents about restriction of online access). She has never been through anything traumatizing or showed signs of depression before. The police say that there's nothing much they can do because they didn't steal real money and she will have no reason to be online except to do homework WITH ADULT SUPERVISION.
