I am going thru the same thing with my 27 yr old daughter, she received special ed classes since kindergarten I was never told there were actuall services that she qualified for to help with her learning disabilities. Just yesterday we had an appointment with DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) . They have great programs

Good luck

Thank you ! Our school system pushed her through and sent her to another school because she could not keep up! Schools today are not like they use to be! There is no time to wait and explain either you get it or you don't ( this is purely my opinion) thank you for your support!

Maybe you could have her go to unemployment office and let them plug her into services that meet her needs? Seems like someone in the high school should have helped you both evaluate her future, but I know what should happen doesn't allways happen. wishing you both good fortune
