I know that children having imaginary friends is normal. My daughter is 4 and makes up all kinds of invisible friends and pretends her stuffed animals are real. It's cute and I know that is just an active imagination. I still remember my imaginary friend "Sally McField" from when I was her age. What bothers me is when she makes up stories about having a sister. She tells people about things she did with her "sister" and places she went with her "sister". She will tell you all about all the wonderful toys and things that her "sister" has and where her "sister" lives. She doesn't pretend play with this imaginary sister though, she only tells about her as though she is bragging. She has been talking about her for as long as she could talk. Should I worry at all about this or is it normal?
