My daughter has been trying to get here 3 year old son to sleep in his own bed, but to no avail.

I agree keep putting him back into his own bed and if anything give him a kiss and a cuddle when you do this... You could even say ' you stay in your bed and cuddle teddy and mommy will see you in the morning' this will give him assurance that mummy will be back after a sleep to get him ready for nursery or creche the next day.

Just keep putting him back in his own bed! He is old enough to understand that is where he should be! Dont give into him at all, no talking to him, no giving in to him, just put him in his own bed, read a story, give him night light or comforter and say good night kisses hug etc then out the room shut the door! Rewards for staying in bed all night :0) But just dont give in to him! if he get out of his bed then put him straight back with out any expression on your face and DONT lol dont talk to him cus then he is getting attention for getting out of bed! i give it 3 to 4 days and i bet he will be sleeping fine in his own bed :0)))))) I did it with my son and it worked :0) and he was only 1 and a half xxxxx Good luck xxxx

well the damage is already saying..dont start the bad habit isn't very helpful.

The ladies are correct. Keep putting him back and don't give in because if you give in even one time you will start from square 1 again.
