Okay, my daughter has mentioned a few times lately about living with her Dad. He is a dead beat, doesn't hardly work and I do not get child support on the regular. My daughter just turned 17 in September and has said on numerous occasions about living with her Dad. I believe that he may black mailing her and telling her if she lives with him that he wouldn't have to pay me child support (like I get any regularly anyways) and that he would of could give that money to her directly. She constantly brings up that her Dad boohoo doesn't have a lot of money and she doesn't know why he should pay child support. This man took off June of last year to work out of state and stayed gone until May of this year (working for cash) and I did not go to court and seek full custody or change amount received even though I could. I don't want to lose her but I am kind of at wits end. She also states sometimes that when she starts college she is going to live with him, that all started before the most recent I think I might go now scenario. Do I let her go? I am in the process of finding us a new place to live because my landlords raised my rent so I don't know what to do. I don't want to beat my head in finding a suitable place big enough for both of us if I am going to end up with an empty room and daughter who visits every now and again. I am the sole supporter when it comes to medical coverage, co-pays, vision and miscellaneous items so do I let her get a taste of living with her disgruntle angry Dad and wait for her to come back? HELP...
