My daughter has very hairy legs and I don't know if I should wait for her to ask me for permission to shave. (Because then I know that she's taking initiative) Or if I should just tell her how to shave and do just that. We're not too close and I don't want her to feel like I can't talk to her. Any help? Please comment as soon as possible I'm all ears!!! LOL! ;) P.S. She's only 11 and I know that ALL of her classmates shave... Any help, To let me know if I should let her shave?

It's a delicate conversation, because you don't want to make her feel like she HAS to do this. Does she accompany you when you shop for your toiletries? When she's with you next time, make a point of saying that you need razors, and take your time selecting them. Then I would just say, "If you ever decide you want some for yourself, just let me know, okay?"

And then I'd leave it at that.
