I have this problem that many other parents might have with their toddlers/kids/tweens/teens. So my child just turned 13 in March and has developed despising school since around 4th grade. Unfortunately, most schools in our areas - as I heard from other parents have students that are those "teenage mean popular girls". Most of schools in the lower mainland of B.C are K-7 and 8-12. Some districts here have middle schools but my daughter doesn't attend one. Her main issues are those girls who she calls "popular". She doesn't complain in the mornings when I wake her up for school, but comes back from school nearly into tears! The teacher sometimes believe those girls more than her because there's only one of my daughter but there's a whole bunch of kids on the other hand! I'm concerned that her grades might drop if she continues to dislike her school, and it's too late for my child to be transferred in another school because she'll graduate in June for high school. She has friends from other schools, not at her school. She is in counselling because I felt the need. Ideas?
