My daughter is 10 months old and she has progressed very well in all aspects from motor skills, eating, sitting up very early, standing early, talking etc. However she is terrified of turning on her tummy from her back and absolutely refuses to crawl, she cries bloody murder if you try to get her up on her knees. On the tummy position she will move across the floor using her hands more then her legs for movement. The longest she will stay on her tummy is about 20 min then she cries she just really does not like it. She pulls herself up to standing and she walks assisted but she is just so afraid to do much movement other then that. She just sits and plays with her toys, but she's becoming increasingly frustrated because when she wants something out of her reach she will not try to go and get it at all. I try to leave her and figure it out herself and then I will try to show her how to get it but then she starts crying uncontrollably. Should I be worried about this? And is there anything I can do to get her to crawl or be more mobile or at least speed up the walking process? Or should I go see some type of specialist? I know some kids don't crawl they go straight to walking but I'm not sure if there is a point that I should worry or just accept it?
