i have been bf after i burp her she throws it all back up, at this point she eats like every hour and a half some times every 2 hours she is now on 1ml of zantac 2 times a day it has helped some but still throwing up a lot i was thinking of switching to formula.She also has gas real bad and is on gas drops for that but it dont help that much.

Formula most likely will make it worse. Your body is made to produce the correct milk for her, unless of course she is lactose intolerant. But yeah, babies throw up. My son bfed every 45 to 1 1/2 hours. My daughter was the same way.

All babies spit up--some more than others. I would be hesitant to use zantac on my baby. Definitely DON'T switch to formula. Formula is not digested as well as breast milk. Babies were DESIGNED to drink mother's milk.

Feeding every hour and a half to two hours is normal for a breastfed baby. Keep up the good work! It will be worth it in the end.

My only other suggestion is you could try to avoid eating certain foods (like broccoli or cauliflower) that could cause problems for the baby. Do some research and try skipping some foods and see if it makes a difference.
