It isn't necessary. If she is breastfeeding, she is getting everything she needs right now. I would hold off until at least 6 months if you can :)

thankyou guys for the feed back im the first in my family to breastfeed cause i felt it is the best thing for my daughter, its annoying cause i have family who trying to convince me that she needs food and water but her doctor saying im doing a great job with her and breast milk is all she needs

All she needs is breast milk. If she is showing interest in your food you can start offering her some in about a month. I would not start any water until after the solids and even then it isn't 'totally' necessary if you are still breastfeeding on demand... just a little something to get them used to the sippy cup.

If she is showing interest in your food, if the milk isn't fulling her up. All children are different my daughter was showing signs of being ready at 4 months. Its recommend that weening can be started between 4 & 6 months. If you give water make sure it has been boiled and cooled first and only introduce one food at a time x
