Most mothers of teens complain that their kids never want to hang out with them anymore. I have the opposite problem. I am going to grad school and working as well. I have no choice. The financial aid is paying our rent and the part-time job is paying for our food. My fourteen-year old can never seem to get enough of me. I love her and even love spending time with her, but sometimes I need to breath. I cannot possibly give her all the attention she seems to want. She is the one that hovers, not me. How do I help her be more independent?
