My daughter is 7 1/2 years old and here hair wont grow. I have trimmed it, conditioned it, massaged her scalp, tried special shampoos and it is still short and whispy. Doctor says nothing is wrong.....that it will grow when it is ready, but this isridiculous...Has anyone else had this problem and if so, can it be helped? All of her friends have long hair and can wear barettes and pony tails. She's lucky to get a headband in it...Her fathers hair is thick and coase and grows like a weed. Mine is fine, but have a lot of it and it is half way down my back...Her brothers' hair grow like weeds and are thick! So not fair to her...any tips would be greatly appreciated!

My oldest daughter is 7 & her hair won't grow past her shoulders. My 2 year old daughters hair is longer than my 7 year old. Not sure why. I am hoping it will grow soon!
