That's great shell had physio and wore a brace after her surgery but this pain has come out of now where we think it's her job because she lifts trays in works and there quite heavy shell was fine up to this year but she's never had a strenuous job befor I just wish I could help with her pain knowing what to do while waiting for the physio

I personally have had had scoliosis surgery but I work as a school nurse for a huge school district. We have two girls who have had corrective surgery. Both had pain management plans for the full year right after the surgery. Those girls could both request pain meds, time to lay down to rest and both had special chairs to sit in in every class. Neither girl had complaints past the first year. Their biggest issue was they were too tall for their previous wardrobes!

Edited: I am sorry, my fist sentence says I have had had scoliosis surgery, it should read I have not had scoliosis surgery. sorry for any confusion.

I've had her in to see the doctor and hospital she's now being referred for physio and hydra therapy that's what I thought I thought the operation would have alleviated a lot of her pain thanks for answering do you have scoliosis or rods and screws

Chronic pain is no way to live. Have you been to see a pain management specialist? She should not have pain five years post op.
