My first grader is scared of his teacher, had potty accidents, has belly aches every morning and wont go to school...

My first grader did not have problems going to day care or pre-k. And first grade also started well. Recently he's been sick a lot since winter, starting with bronchitis, ear infection, fevers and a recent UTI and had to stay at home a lot. During the UTI infection at school he had a potty/poopy accident. When we spoke with him latter, he informed us he's been avoiding drinking water as they use the restroom only during breaks and was not allowed to use in class hours. But he never felt like going during actual breaks. Infact the UTI was bad, we had to take him to ER as he had blood in urine. I kept a note, called his teacher talked to her, and also requested her to allow him use the bathroom when needed. The teacher is very strict and I noted that my son is pretty terrified of her. Following this incident he started getting bellyaches everyday before school and started crying that he misses me and will not go to school. I somehow sent him to school and he has had two poopy accidents since then and the teacher showed so much irritation towards what has happened. For a month my son had been saying about how much scared he is of the teacher and I have always told him that teachers are strict for his own good. Recently I got a note from his teacher saying that my son was being dishonest on an incident in class and after some investigation and talks on both sides, we found that my son had no role in whatever was being told. Infact it looked the whole incident was falsely woven around him, where he was being singled out and questioned repeatedly forcing him into accepting into something as he was very scared. I called for an appointment with the principal and meanwhile the teacher called us and spoke to us apologizing for the situation, saying she was falsely informed by another student in the class. She promised that she will ensure that she will talk to my son and give him assurance and requested not to take this to principal before we try to sort out with her.
I am currently pregnant and really stressed out with all these events and I am trying to figure out, if my son's bellyaches are due to the fact that he is scared or if he really has some anxiety related stomach issues. I have booked an appointment with a pediatric gastro doc, which is like 2 weeks from now. I have heard that kids and their frequent episodes of falling sick gets better as they grow up. But I feel like I am the only one dealing with this kind of a situation here... Any help or suggestions to deal with my situation is really welcome...
