My four year old daughter doesnt listen to me!

Help! It drives me crazy. Everytime that I start talking to her about something that she has done or not to act a certain way she completely zones out and does not listen to me. She stares at me and just says yes yes to everything that I say but when I ask her to repeat what I just said she says she doesn't know she doesn't remember. Its so bad that she will get in trouble for not listening and say sorry and then when I start talking again and ask her to tell me what I said she still says she doesn't know because she wasn't listening. Is this normal behaviour??

Kids can be very aggravating. My two year old does me the same way. I get on her or tell her not to do something and she laughs at me like it's a game and does it anyway, but she listens to her daddy. Irritates me bad but I keep telling myself I made her and she acts just like me. She knows she is getting to me and I think that is why she does it. Hang in there and don't back down on her. She will get it. I know plenty of little girls that do that to their mommy's and I think it is because we are the softies. We spoil our little girls and give in to so easily. It will be ok. She will learn the difference of when you are playing and when you mean business.
