Hello everyone My grandson about to turn three in June 2016 does not speak (well only a few things) but makes eye contact love to play with other kids and loves puzzles should I worry. I take him to speech therapy and she says he is doing great. How do other moms or grandmother feel please need feedback

Yes, he did get a hearing test that's when we found out he could not hear because of excess water in his eyes, (has tubes in). The Dr explain to my son and his wife that the only thing he could hear if it was right in front of him.

If he's in speech therapy I am assuming he had a hearing test and an evaluation...?

Speech therapy is a good thing. He should keep w/ that as long as necessary to help him. The bulk of a child's speech is developed by the age of 5, so the more help he gets younger... the better.
