My grandson is starting to get his teeth. Should I continue with bottled water or use tap water since it has flouride?

I've always used tap water once my kids were drinking water. They were breastfed, so water didn't start for a while. We don't have fluoride in our tap water though. I'd most likely use non fluoridated bottled water for a baby if we had fluoride in the tap water.

i would recommend tap water, research has shown that tap water is healthier and much more beneficial than we think. not only does it contain flouride, it also contains natural minerals which is not found in bottled water due to its vigorous purification process. i also would recommend finding flouride rich foods which are age appropriate and increase his calcium intake. i do hope you find this post helpful and effective. Good point however that wasn't clear so I just assumed she was offering extra water. If she is using it to mix the formula, personally I would continue with bottled or filtered water.

How old is your grandson? He may already be getting enough water from his breast milk and or formula and may not need extra water.

there are bottled water WITH flouride... Tap water has MORE than just flouride in it... it has MANY chemicals.... DEFINITELY look into getting gallon bottles of fluoridated water for him
