Like Sarah said, you would be better off getting her into classes she has interest in and then she will meet friends there.
I will say, there comes a time when you need to let your child make their own choices and friends is one of them. It's not up to you and your husband to find her friends, she needs to learn those skills herself. It's your job to give her the confidence to meet new people though.

Also, what is the problem with your friends having boys? Boys and girls do find a lot of things in common and can play quite happily together.

This is a large international forum. Why not go out and meet some of the neighborhood families? Does she have friends at school? You could sign her up for a class for an activity she enjoys (art, dance, cooking) and maybe she'd make some friends there?
