My husband and I are and have been having relationship problems...we have a 5-1/2 year old boy, he just started kindergarten. Well my husband is not letting my son if he gets hurt cry, he wants him to me macho like he is, and it makes me so sad. I feel that my husband is a bully about it and now that we are seperated and our son lives in "his" house with him, I am no longer there to make sure that he does not do that. When our son is with me and he hurts himself, i let him cry, it is not like he is whining like a little baby or a girl, he really hurt himself and how does my husband know what our son is feeling!!?? Help please i don't know what to do, my husband thinks he is perfect and knows everything, and i know this is how his mom was when he was emotions or compassion!!

apply for custody and explain the situation with the judge.

I think you mean he has no empathy, which is a clue to a brain injury, (I don't know, but that's what happened to my ex after his third skull fracture) It's worth mentioning to a judge. If you are certian there is a brain injury, you should get the child out of the situation as soon as possible
