My husband and I have known each other since middle school and have been together since our senior year of high school and since the summer after high school he has been talking about joining the marines. Well next month he is finally taking the plunge. Being a military brat myself, I am totally supportive because I have somewhat lived the lifestyle. But tonight, he decided it would be a good idea to watch a documentary with me about marines in combat. After seeing a scene where 20-30 marine were shot at and killed (graphic images), I started to get upset and his only reaction to that was "Whats your problem"? I honestly dont see how he doesnt understand. Im sure if I were planning to get a job where I could die any second he'd be bothered by it. And tonight it just felt like he was shoving it in my face and now I feel less supportive than I did before. Kind words would be appreciated because we have a two year old daughter together and I'm definitely in a bad state right now. Thanks ladies.
