Well, then tell your eldest to leave the youngest alone, and that big kids don't drink from bottles. You could safely transition the youngest to a cup, and end the argument right there.

the 11 month old does eats solids so is the 2.5 old the feeding bottle is for the young one and the fight ensues between them even though the 2.5 have long stopped taking it and that have began recently.

The 2.5 year old is too old for a bottle of any kind. This child needs to be on a cup or sippy cup for any liquids that are to be consumed and eating solid foods. The 11 month old needs to be learning to eat and drink from a cup. Why did you allow the older one to be on a bottle this long?
