Hi Sabrina,
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this. I am not a professional, however, I have had and am still having similar experiences with my son. I have 4 children. My son in now 13 and I noticed something "different" about him when he was 6 months old. I have taught the "It's Not Your Fault" program through the Red Cross as well as "Positive Parenting". My son did not fall into any "manual" offered. I was at a loss as my 2 older daughters were such a pleasure, and youngest daughter, now 11, was being impacted my son's behaviour. My entire family was.

I would be curious as to your family history, dynamics, experiences, etc. etc. What has impacted my son was something that my girls went through as well, but did not affect them the same way.

I will share more with you if this seems relevant.

Wishing you love, peace and perseverance.
Carol

How old is she? What have you done in the past to correct her behavior? Do you allow her to get her way on everything?

If you have no rules in the house and she is this way because of that, then you can not expect her to suddenly change to one who behaves.

You need to set up rules and consequences for her and stick to them and be consistant with it. No backing down. Also if she is so lazy, give her a few chores to do that are age appropriate, clean her room, make her bed up, put clothing in laundry basket, put folded clothing away, do homework, things of this nature.
