She came home with an pretty bad abrasion on her lip and nose. Noone brought it to my attention when I picked her up. I noticed it when putting her in the car. I went back and they said it was because she was picking at her nose all morning. It was not because she was picking her nose it was clearly because something happened and she was touching it. The best I can make out from my 4 year old is that she was on a slide and she fell. She said she was crying and noone helped her. Today my wife spoke to the director and they apologized for this happening but I my issue is how could she go all day there and they not notice that something was wrong. My little one could have perhaps needed medical attention and I think a bigger issue is that they admit they noticed her touching her nose frequently.. So why didn't they investigage it. My wife thinks I am overreacting but I now in my eyes the trust is broken with my little one and I am worried that something else will happen in the future and it could be worse. I have a 5 year old that just started Kinder and he was in preschool since he was 3 and never an issue. This is a different school, a private school, and I was expecting the same or better service.
