Louise makes some excellent points and suggestions: Kids get sick and an extra multi-vitamin won't hurt. Young kids have an under-developed immune system--it is actually "growing" each time they get sick. Consider your daughter ahead of the curve in this department.

With that in mind, however, you can help her immune system by ensuring a healthy diet that includes fresh fruits and veggies that are high in vitamin C. Strawberries are an excellent source and most kids love them. Oranges (or any citrus fruit for that matter), red peppers, pineapple, and kiwi are other good sources. Good nutrition through healthy foods will help develop her immune system so that it works efficiently, making any illness shorter in duration at least. Hope this helps and good luck!

It just sounds like you have been really unlucky so far. Most baby formulas help with the immune system and help protect from bugs. I would add a multivitamin to her diet something ABIDEC which is safe to use and can be bought from a chemist. Now she is attending day care she will catch more coughs and colds until she has built up an immunity. As for ear infections and conjuctivitus make sure her ears are completly dry after a bath and use a seperate part of the bath towel to wipe each eye. This should help a little. Another way to boost immune system is to make sure she eats a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, try vitamin c fruits like satsumas, oranges and clementines as these help prevent colds. Your best bet is the ABIDEC as this guarantees she is getting what she needs. I use this if my little one has been off her food due to a cold or teething. Hope she turns a corner soon there is nothing worse than a sick little one. xx
