First I was due August 9, on 5/30 I had a routine ob appt and the preeclampsia diagnosis was dropped on me! Needless to say a week later on Friday 6/7 I had my son at 31 weeks. He had the typical preemie issues, but it was discovered Friday June 14 that he had an infection, on Sunday I was told its MRSA!! The infection is in his blood! The dr said it most likely came from the line in his stomach! Ugh!!!! I'm so frustrated!!!!! I'm anxious to know if he will survive this! The doctors seem confident, but I'm just so blown and lost and angry! Now he's in isolation and gowns and gloves are being used. Why couldn't these items be used at first?! If he survives will he be a carrier for life?? Life is so unfair!! I'm pondering what I can possibly do about this issue? Is suing the hospital viable?
