Ahhh,....Well, I would be kicking him out and if he made threats to me, I would be calling the police.

do you have domestic or interum violence orders,,,, maybe its time to seek some and keep calling the cops.

You could give him notice to move out, I think 30 days is the common.

If your renting, can you move out and tell him to find his own place???

Hi everyone. my son is threatening me and harassing me. I call the police an they do nothing.

He is twenty-nine years old. He is on drugs and I am frightened.

I'm with the others, stop paying him for doing nothing and put some expectations infront of the dollars. So if he's too young to work, he can do chores around the home/yard, if he's old enough to work, he needs to get a job, Part of being a good parent is knowing when to stop doing for your children and encouraging them to do for themselves.

Tell him no. If he wants to do something, he can either get a job and earn the money himself or he can do some extra chores for you to get some extra money if you have it.

Oh one more though. You could give him chores around the house and a weekly allowance. Make him earn it.

Or depending on his age, tell him to get a job. Hell, even if he is young, he can mow lawns or wash cars. Or better yet, here it is time to rake the leaves.
