My son has ADHD and his teacher isn't very understanding.

His teacher has given him four days of detention already this year. He's in fourth grade for the second time and in January he will be 11. The next thing the teacher said will happen, he will get suspended. She says he doesn't follow directions, talks in class, doesn't brings all his materials to class and just won't do his work. The detention and suspentions is not going to help him. It will just make things worse for him to get suspended because it will cause him more failing grades. I'm afraid he is going to fail again. I wan't to let him do the program k-12 online school so I can help him one on one but I can't afford to get all the equipment he needs. They will lend him a laptop because I qualify. and they will re-imberse for internet amount. I need to have a phone which I can't afford. I don't have a router, printer, or scanner. I can't afford it. He is on Adderall and Strattera. His anger is out of control and gets worse with the meds. He beat his sister up. I make him charts at home to do simple tasks so he can check them off when he is done. His doctor told me to do this. It's still a struggle and I have to stand there and watch him do these things most of the time. Examples, brush teeth, put on shirt, put on pants, put on socks, put on shoes, get back pack I'm so frustrated. What can i do? Does anyone have any advice about what I can do about his un-supportive teacher?

I'm sorry for what your going through and i don't mean to sound harsh but he needs some punishments for his actions he should be shown at home and school that his actions will not be tolerated and his adhd may make him hyper but doesnt make it ok i also have adhd and that sounds weird to me as far as the suspensions go i suggest talking to the principal about doing after school detention instead or weekend detention a suspention would just be a vacation for him
