Yes my son was diagnosed with torticollis, his was not severe, I took him to pt but then I found out that our outpatiesnt therapy copay went up to 50 dollars per session. It just so happened that I was really good friends with our pt and he showed me what to do at home.

My son had a SEVERE case of toricollis and it required surgery when he was 6 months old. His head was tilted all the way to one side and they released a muscle in his neck so he could move it. PT didn't help until the surgery. He still has a slightly asymetrical face but it is a lot better than it was.
It was suggested we get a helmet for our son, but insurance saw it as cosmetic and wouldn't cover it (over 10K)!!! His skull is fine now, with slight imbalance but with all his hair you can't tell anymore. He's 3 1/2 now. I have pictures him face on my FB page if you want to see. You may have to friend me though, just remind me in your friend request who you are. :) My name on FB is christy wager flowers.
