my son is 10 months old and helast saw his dad in novemeber one day withme bfore that h saw him 5 times i that its now march and he wants him for the day with out me but i feel likei wouldb hadinghimover to a stranger as doesnt know who he is he oly asked to see him beasuei text him to say i have a knew number and he hadnt asked how he was for a month a half wht do i do let him seeor say no ? he only seems to want him to show him off :/ help ........

Supervised visits with his dad is totally understandable. They do need time to get to know one another, but I understand wanting to be there for your son.

K, first of all no offense but it is very difficult to read and decipher your post. Secondly, yes. Let him see his child. He is the father. If you feel he is unsafe in anyway, get a lawyer and go through the process legally.

But, supervised visitation at this point, should be encouraged. He's making an effort. Meet him halfway on it, for the sake of your child. :-)

I agree entirely with Little Miss.... about your post and the visitations. I would not do unsupervised at this age and with his history of lack of involvement unless we had a court order requiring it, but... supervised (either by you or someone you trust) definitely. If he doesn't like it.... he may or may not take you to court and you may or may not get things the way either of you want.
